How Process Measurement & Analysis Limited uses and protects information collected through this website.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Who we are

Process Measurement & Analysis Limited (company number 01015471) is the controller of personal information collected through automatictankdewatering.co.uk. Our registered office is Brook Mills House, Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, HD7 5BG, United Kingdom.

Information we collect

When you use our contact form, we may collect your name, email address, subject, telephone number, company name, town or city, site application and message. We also process the technical information needed to deliver the site securely, remember your privacy choice and protect forms from spam and abuse.

How and why we use personal information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your application, prepare requested technical or commercial information and take steps towards a contract. The lawful bases we rely on are legitimate interests, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Contact forms and email delivery

Contact form submissions are processed by this website on Cloudflare. Enquiry details and a delivery reference are stored in a private database so that we can handle your request and check delivery without sending duplicate notifications. Notifications are delivered to the PMA team through SMTP2GO. The information you provide is used to handle your enquiry and related business correspondence. Please do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

Analytics and cookies

The website uses security and operational information to protect the service and investigate faults. The former WordPress Independent Analytics tracker is no longer used on this version of the site. Optional Google Analytics is described below.

We also use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-Z5988Q593M, but only after you choose to allow analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand visits, pages viewed and general site use. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, Google signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled. Google may process analytics information on servers outside the UK. Google describes its privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

Our essential preference record, atd_cookie_consent, is stored in your browser’s local storage and, where available, as a cookie. It expires after 180 days. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie, normally for up to two years. You can accept, reject or change analytics permission at any time using the Cookie settings control at the bottom of the site. Withdrawing consent removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and stops future Google Analytics collection on this site.

Security and spam protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical browser and device signals for security. This processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its users. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Who receives information

We share personal information only where needed with service providers that support website hosting, security, form processing, email delivery and consented analytics, or where the law requires it. Relevant providers are Cloudflare for hosting, private enquiry storage and security, SMTP2GO for email delivery and, when analytics consent is granted, Google. Providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on the service. We require appropriate safeguards where a provider processes personal information for us.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires it, we use an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and correspondence records only for as long as needed to respond, manage the resulting business relationship, meet warranty, accounting or legal requirements, and resolve disputes. The period therefore depends on the nature of the enquiry and any resulting contract. Consent preferences are kept for 180 days. Google Analytics event and user-level data is configured for 14 months; Google Analytics cookies may last up to two years unless you withdraw consent or delete them.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. We normally do not charge for a request, but the law permits a reasonable fee or refusal for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Questions and complaints

For privacy questions or to exercise a right, email privacy@pma.uk.com, call 01484 843 708, or write to Process Measurement & Analysis Limited, Brook Mills House, Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, HD7 5BG, United Kingdom. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for current contact and complaint information. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
